Overview |
You've heard the sales pitch for Verge Replenish™ and perhaps seen a preview of the comprehensive functionality it promises retailers. More than suggested orders based on scan data, Replenish promises to be a store hub where surveys can be taken, training given, shelf-tags printed, visual reports reviewed, and more. That's the future Replenish promises, which we're committed to delivering. The Replenish we are delivering today is a subset of that future as we focus on perfecting accurate suggested orders.
The following is a brief walk-through of key functionality available in Replenish today, presented to help guide your own exploration of the software. |
Sync
|
Syncing is performed from the employee log-in screen. Before creating an order or performing an inventory audit, it is important to sync Replenish. Synced information will include up to yesterday's sales; none of today's sales will be included.

Order |
Replenish allows you to see suggested orders for all vendors, and place orders with the primary wholesaler. Suggested orders are calculated by algorithm taking into account sales history and current O/H values. To create an order, navigate to the ordering area of the app, select a vendor to work with, and build your order. In Replenish we've provided several convenient ways to build an order. You can use any combination of these methods on a given order.
By Category allows you to see a list of items by category that Replenish thinks you should order. Each item will have a suggested order QTY and also include an O/H value. If the O/H value appears inaccurate, you may adjust it, and the suggested order QTY will update accordingly. Click the add button to the right of an item to add it, or in the header to add all items in the category. Scan works similar to C-tech. Simply scan an item and increment the order QTY as desired. In instances where scanned items have an order QTY greater than zero, that QTY is being suggested by the order algorithm. Depending on the version of Replenish you're on, other order methods may be available. |
Audit |
To provide high quality suggested orders, Replenish needs to have accurate O/H values. As product is sold, it is deducted from O/H inventory. As product is delivered, it is automatically added to O/H inventory. Over time O/H values reported in Replenish may drift from what's really in the store. To maintain O/H value accuracy users should periodically audit a category or planogram. To do this, a user simply navigates to the audit portion of the app, selects the Miscellaneous category and then begins scanning items. As items are scanned, the user will enter the QTY they count O/H. This input will overwrite the existing O/H value in Replenish. When performing an audit, a user should count all inventory available for a SKU (across multiple facings or in the backroom) before syncing.
Important: O/H values are accurate as of yesterday end-of-day. Anything sold today will not be reflected in the app. For this reason it is recommended all audits are performed early in the morning. After auditing is completed for the day, the user should log out and perform a "send to server" sync. |
Check-In |
Depending on the version of Replenish you're on, this option may be available. Similar to ordering, a user selects a vendor to work with and then performs the check-in/out. The user will enter information from the printed invoice and then scan the delivered items. Key information will be tallied at the bottom of the screen. When all items are scanned the user can see the overall discrepancy, choose to correct or accept those discrepancies, and then submit the check-in/check-out.
